We are all familiar with the Geico tag line. Geico is a marketing driven company. It is all about getting and keeping the Geico brand in the public eye. Their Sponsorship of performer Tim Weber leverages their existing print and television campaign. On the airshow site there is a custom trailer with the Geico logo aircraft on the side and a pull out awning for customer promotions and literature. Of course the Geico “Gecko” is there for photo opportunities. The combination of excellent press coverage, dynamic flying performance and personal contact with customers is a winner for Geico. This is a very cost effective way for Geico to expand on their current marketing plan.

Oracle

Oracle’s participation in airshow sponsorship is very different from Geico’s. Oracle is a business to business company. Airshows provide the venue to entertain their clients in a private chalet tent. Veteran performer Sean Tucker pulls it all together with his press interviews/flights, exciting flying performance and personal appearance in the Oracle chalet tent.
